ETHOS

I work for money but design for love.
Good design is intuitive and invisible.
Design can’t ever be too simple.
Creativity means not being afraid of making mistakes.
Serious play is at the heart of innovation.
There is no such thing as talent. There is only dedication.

WHAT I DO

Graphics

Branding is not just about what a company looks like but what it makes you feel like. I make graphics that touch people and make them become invested in what the brand has to say.

UI/UX

A brand's success relies on making user interactions as smooth and intuitive as possible. This is why a User Interface should always organize information in ways that just make sense. I aim to find easier, more efficient ways to help our devices do the things we need them to do.

Coding

I speak the language of the web, allowing me to build websites that accurately represent your business to the world.

The Midnight Gainesville

Midnight Bar Gainesville
Brand Image

The Problem: The Midnight lacked a brand identity that would set it apart from other bars in the area. They pride themselves in the bohemian atmosphere of the place and in the comradery that forms between its frequent costumers.

The Solution: To go along with the bohemian atmosphere that characterizes the place so well, the logo has a hand drawn quality to it. It also reflects an air of modernism in order to appeal to the Midnight's costumers, college students.

Sochi Winter Olympics
Website

The Problem: Spectator sports are a very visually driven activity, especially for those users who are not in the arena. The current official website for the Olympics is not visually appealing enough and can often be difficult to navigate.

The Solution: I wanted to give the consumer a neatly organized but high-energy experience. Visuals with captions were used to organize the information.
